I have stayed in double room with the shower and around...one bed and a decent breakfast for 1 night. The location was excellent, for example, a public museum was just a short stroll away from the hotel. There were a shopping street and several stores around the property.

Had good sleep at the king room with a double bed, a firmer pillow, as for instance. A shower and bath sheets were available there. Location: the hotel was close enough to town centre, train station and river.

The busy road out front could snag your attention, especially if you're trying to catch some rest. It's a bit tricky to navigate around these streets, and you might miss the entrance due to the layout. I also noticed some worn decor that could use a refresh, but it adds to the building's aged character. Plus, there's no escaping the odd noise that seeps in from the bar area if you're in the wrong room.

The staff were super attentive and. The location is great too-just a short walk from the station and the town center. I loved the cozy superior double room and the warm hospitality provided by the team. Definitely a highlight of my trip!

Family with children are better off elsewhere
The receptionist was friendly and let us check in early, a nice surprise. Unfortunately, the room was less than stellar. Stains everywhere and a shared bathroom that looked like it hadn't been touched in ages. We paid a decent price for all this, but it really wasn't worth it.
It felt pricey for the state of the hotel, but I guess you get what you pay for.
